A little about me and how I got to Sacramento.

I took my first real estate class in 1994, simply because I wanted to educate myself before I bought my very first home.   I bought a condo in San Bruno and continued along in my career as a Customer Service Representative at San Francisco Airport. However,   I had truly enjoyed the real estate class and now I knew that one day I would change careers.

As a whitewater rafting enthusiast, I spent more than a few weekends a year driving to or through the Sacramento area to raft various rivers.  One day while driving home, I decided to check out one of the signs along Highway 50 that read, “American River Parkway,” and ended up in Goethe Park, (now Riverbend Park).

Well, that’s what did it. I had just discovered ‘The Jewel of Sacramento’ and in 2003 I relocated and bought a “fixer-upper” in Rancho Cordova…....right along the American River Parkway!

I'm a dog mom, and Cassidy and I can't get enough of the trails and the river which are so close to our backyard. You know what they say; location, location, location.  If you enjoy the out of doors, I think the Sacramento area is hard to beat.
When the time came to start my second career, I did my research, and chose to work with LYON. I’m very happy to still be in customer service, yet not working with 100-500 people all at once. (Did you know a 747 holds over 500 passengers? None of whom want to sit in a middle seat.)

Now, house-hunting for and with clients is one of my favorite things to do.

If you are thinking of buying or selling, I would love to help you in your quest.  Give me a call and put me to work for you.

Mary went above and beyond in our transaction on many levels. In one instance, the title company was not going to insure an off-property easement. She researched records, got to the bottom of it, and because of the information she provided the title company, it ended up insuring the off-property easement (in addition to the main home). Mary did not have to do that, but I was grateful she did (without me even asking her to) and her actions eased my mind a lot. From first meeting Mary, I was very impressed with how knowledgeable she was, and how she paid attention to details that were important to me! Mary was excellent on all levels, and I would recommend her in a heartbeat to represent others in their real estate transactions.

Additional Testimonials

I cannot express my deepest appreciation of the job Mary did for us. She was outstanding in all aspects in helping us. She helped us in the remodel aspect and her communication & knowledge of the Real Estate market helped us sell our property with very little effort on our part. We will always remember our wonderful experience & will be glad to recommend her to others.

We have a wonderful relationship with Mary. She sold my Dad's house for us, spent hours showing us homes for sale, and will sell our home for us. She has been great....a friend.

What can I say about Mary? I cannot tell you how very fortunate we were to have talked with Mary and made the decision she was the person we'd like to work with to get this house sold. We've bought and sold 4 homes over the years and we've never met a Realtor who was literally willing to do anything which needed doing to help sell the house. We cannot imagine what we would have done with the issues that popped up about the house if it hadn't been for Mary. We owe her more than the commission she made, for sure. I don't think there are many Realtors who would have done what Mary did for us. She went way above what anyone could conceivably expect from a Realtor. We love her! Mary was nothing but a pleasure to work with, someone I would heartily recommend to anyone looking for a Realtor in the Sacramento area.

We were so happy and grateful to have you as our agent during this process -- you set the bar pretty high.
